Opening of Parco Marina Bay

Parco is a new addition to the tenants at Millenia Walk, a shopping mall located in central Singapore. To reach Parco, visitors can easily take the MRT to the Promenade station (part of the Circle Line) which was officially opened on April 17, 2010.

Parco Marina Bay consists of 3 levels. The first level focuses mostly on fashion accessories and beauty and fitness-related services. Brands available include Lee Heng Jewellers and SONNE EYEWEAR. On the next level, there are many brands selling mostly women's apparel such as EMMA, JULIETTE and Cotton Amour. There is also a section named Parco next NEXT which is a fashion incubator set up with strong support from Spring Singapore.

The highest level, Level 3 is where most of the restaurants are located. Collectively, they are located in a section named itadakimasu. Some of the unique restaurants located here include Ma Maison, which serves Japanese-French fusion food and also Keisuke Tokyo which sells shrimp broth ramen.

Fashion Show

As part of its promotional activities to promote its opening at Millenia Walk, two fashion shows were held. I attended the first which was held on April 17, 2010. During the 20-minute show, various models paraded down the catwalk to showcase the clothes, accessories and shoes sold in Parco.
